How do you make mistakes like this?
School officials apologized after an X-rated font was used on a third-grade spelling packet handed out to parents. The font showed male and female stick figures in provocative poses to form the letters of the alphabet.
That’s hardly even a proof reading error. How do you print off who knows how many spelling packets to hand out to parents without even glancing at one? I wonder how many mis-spellings there were?

This seems mild compared to the curricula out there. It doesn’t surprise me that they “missed” it.
Good heavens. That must have been some note. Who would have even thought there was such a thing as an x-rated font?

No kidding…those “teacher font” programs they buy for school must have a lot more on them than letters with dashed lines.
