We had to buy the equipment, the monthly fee is exorbitant and the service is not local. Wonderful! And, that is not even the worst part about having a satellite. The worst part is that it is weather sensitive: fog, rain, snow and ice will put us offline for days! <br /><br />There is DSL in the area now and as soon as our contract with the satellite company is over... we will be on DSL So glad you are back!
