But it may take some getting used to. I’ll have my links back and orderly soon.
What do you think? I like my grays, but this is kind of attractive.
The link color is perhaps more obvious, but I don’t think I like it.
And I just now realized that despite all the tweaking I did in my “sandbox,” I forgot to actually save the contents of my widgets before replacing the template.
And, uh, does anyone know what happened to my navigation bar at the top? I don’t think I was supposed to get rid of that. And I really would like it back. It shows on my editing page, but I can’t figure out why it isn’t really there.

I think I like it too ~ I didn’t know you were an HTML genius!
The other pictures better. Don’t like the white on yellow for links.
LOVE the new look!!
I’ve been on a sabbatical or sorts. Back at it if you’d like to come for a look.
Wanted to let you know I’m getting the blogcarnival.com listing updated. Hopefully it will bring some additional hits for the Education carnival. Thanks again for that.
The Meme carnival didn’t come off; we’re giving it another go. Along with a Relationships carnival. Perhaps you can give us a hand.
Stop by, please, and let me know when you get the newest updating done.
This remodel was truly well done. As for the tweaking, good luck with the rest.
I like it, but I must say it gives me a different impression of you. (Good different!) I realized how much I develop my perception of the blogger based on blog design. For example,I’m scared of people who have so many graphics and colors that you can’t find their posts much less read the orange text on the green background.
I think I need to change my design. It might give someone the impression that I’m mellow and/or laid back!
LOVE it! Very bright and inspiring for summer
As for all the questions–I am not real computer literate, still learning LOL
The new look is amazing! Bee-U-Tee-Full!!!!!
I love it.
I am sending you the html for the jumpbar, and you can see if it works.
J
Oh, thank you everyone!
It is way different, but what I wanted wouldn’t load and contrary to Julie’s very nice comment, I know so little about html/xml it is scary.
I can drop a link in a comment box on my own but that is about it.
This is a free template…and very yellow.
April,
It is funny how much you develop an impression of someone based on their layout. I still haven’t decided about this one. It may just be a cheery summer look. My husband doesn’t think it suits my blog, my first choice wouldn’t load, and my attempt at adding a third column to my old template didn’t work.
The butterfly is nice, but I like the picture you had before of the ruined house with the tree growing in it…it somehow seemed to fit with your scripture-tagline…the foundations [of that house in the picture] were destroyed, but the Righteous Man is like a tree growing by streams of water…
I agree with that…that’s why I am not sure if I want to keep this one, yet.
The new look is pretty, if a bit brash for my personal tastes.
I took a quick look at your source code and the reason your nav bar is gone (if you are talking about the blogger puts there automatically) is missing is because it is hidden in the CSS. You currently have it set to height of “0px”, visibility of “hidden,” and display of “none.” Get rid of this line in your CSS:
#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none }
And it may just come back on it’s own (depending on what CSS blogger has in place before it loaded your stylesheet). I’ve only ever coded one Blogger template before and it’s been a few years ago now. Try taking out that CSS line and see if it works, if not, I’ll take another look.
Thanks, Dolphin!
I’ll be messing with it more tonight and we’ll see if that works. It is a little something for my tastes, but since I inadvertently deleted my old template, that one will take a bit to rebuild.
Or maybe I can get the one I wanted in the first place to work!
It’s great!!
I have been thinking of a “facelift” for mine as well..
Love the new look!
and just think… “no botox!”
