For female bloggers interested in the possibility of accepting advertising on their site, BlogHer is accepting blogs into their network.
They also have an interesting feature which allows you to blog on their site. You post your introduction and a link back to your blog for readers to view the rest of the entry. Pretty cool, and I’ve enjoyed surfing through to see what people other than the blogher editors have to say.
Then there are those conferences everyone keeps blogging about. Maybe someday I’ll make it to one…
Principled Discovery is a place to stop and discuss news and information related to faith, family and particularly education. Pour yourself a cup of tea and join the conversation!

I don’t know…advertising just isn’t for me. I have to truly endorse something to want to advertise it and there are few companies I truly endorse LOL
But hey, more power to those who do…and I understand the free promotion and direction of blogger traffic through advertising
I can understand that! I don’t like the paid reviews and text link ads and all of that. I have nothing against anyone trying to make a little money doing something they love…don’t get me wrong. And I don’t avoid those sites, but it certainly isn’t my cup of tea.
I have enjoyed blogher since I first learned about them and some of my favorite blogs are in their network. So I did a little happy dance when they accepted me!
I did the happy dance too! Like you, I was more excited to be a part of the Blogher network than I was to have ads on my site. That wasn’t my end goal. Now I’m hoping to get more visitors while finding other great blogs (like yours). Thanks for visiting mine.
Thanks for visiting, Shauna! And I think your Mr. Destructo is adorable. It is so hard to be a good parent, sometimes. Because in the middle of their mischief you know you are not supposed to let them know how cute they are.
But it is sooooo hard!
