I don’t think there’s any place more beautiful than the Smokies.

Right in my back yard!! Well, when I’m in the States, that is…

Cool! Then you have certainly had a chance to enjoy them…we loved it. We took a day just to drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway and ended up at the Biltmore Estates. We didn’t go in, though. But I did marvel at a shop selling clothes that were locked behind jewelry cases rather than out on racks. They had shirts there that cost more than my entire wardrobe!

I’m looking forward to hearing about your trip! Cynthia from SHS

Hey, Cynthia! Actually, maybe I wasn’t very clear but the description of the trip is on the other end of the link I posted. I wrote it all out for that site and decided I had typed enough.
There is a blurry picture of the bear we saw though. : )

I loved your photos. I need to plan a real vacation soon. This year, we didn’t go anywhere because Ron didn’t want to use all his vacation time before our adoption is final. When he got in a use or lose vacation status, we started on the family room in the basement. Marissa is convinced we are the most boring family on the planet!
I just read your article A Vision for the Family: Homeschoolers Advancing the Cause of Christ in South Korea. I got a copy of Home School Enrichment from a virtual friend. I enjoyed the article and I was so excited that I “knew” the author. Blogging is so cool!

Yeah! Someone actually read it!
I wish you had been able to take your vacation…but we almost did the same here. We may be regretting not having done so in the Spring if we do end up putting the house back on the market. We’ll see.
How is the adoption progressing? OK, I could probably get that information by catching up on your blog…I’m getting there. : )

We are headed to Pigeon Forge TN next month! I can’t wait!
