Very touching!

I love that her homeschooling reasons sort of evolved/clarified as she homeschooled. I find that is happening for me as well.

Christy, it is amazing how the Lord works! I wasn't interested in homeschooling at all until it was dumped in my lap. Now I can't imagine anything different.

He's doing fine so far. Trying to keep the kids from jumping on him for the next few days should be fun...he had the lens in his right eye replaced (basically cataract surgery) and will be having is left eye done at the end of the month. His vision is very bad, on the borderline of being too weak to do his job, so he's hoping for a little more job security!

I heard about the tornadoes, and I'm glad you are ok! And I am praying for those who lost their lives. 48, I heard?

I was also a reluctant homeschooler. I think I needed that time to wrap my brain around where my heart was headed.

Hope your husband is well. We'll be adding him to our Ash Wednesday prayer list.

P.S. A tornado hit half a mile from the house last night, but all is well. My favorite gas station and grocery store are out of service for a while. Please pray for those who lost homes and lives last night. Thanks

Thank you for sharing Deb's answer with us.
deb, I love that you listed 15 reasons. You didn't just list the three most important and leave it at that. You gave a full, complete answer.
Dana, I love hsing so much, I'll be honest, I am always surprised by the reluctant hser. I think god's ways to move families into it are amazing. We heard a sermon regarding God's safeguards and sometimes, to us those safeguards appear to be obstacles to the goal.
