Ever since I read this post, I've been thinking about the steps of education you outlined. So simple, so effective, so just like Jesus. This post watered my parched heart as I realized anew that educating my children is ministry.

Dana, I know you have already been to visit my blog, but I wanted to say thanks for this link. I happen to think the Screwtape Letters is CS Lewis' greatest work and I really enjoyed this post.

Definitely. But just because an institution has Christian in its name does not make it inherently any different. But we put our trust in it anyway. I think it was Sunniemom who said something about some Christian schools being little different than public institutions with a cross slapped on the front.

"...these institutions produce followers, conformists and prattling repeaters of propaganda at a rate so high that we hardly know what to do with them once we have them on board."

Sounds like the students of a few liberal colleges I could name.
