Running the carnival this weeks seems to have zapped me of all extra energy. Of course, losing the internet connection at the start of last week did not help. It pretty much forced me to sort and incorporate all 60 or so entries in a relatively short time. (Like the night before…am I supposed to admit that?) I always worry that I am going to forget someone, and was so thankful that this worst of all host mistakes did not seem to take place.
I did, however, mess up Renae’s link from Life Nurturing Education about her little muss makers. She caught it and I fixed it pretty early, but if you came through early and wondered where her muss makers were, you can visit them now.
And unfortunately, Hayes Happenings‘ site was down all day yesterday. There is nothing that really could have been done about that, but I know it is disappointing to look forward to participating in something and then have something like a technical glitch bar you from it. Boy do I know! While I doubt he stayed up late fretting about the missed blog traffic, I’m sure he would appreciate you dropping by and sharing a recipe on his post, Recipes! Please add yours! It is loading slowly right now, but it does come up.
I want to thank everyone who stopped by for a visit yesterday and the many blogs who chose to help promote the carnival. It really is a nice community event and every time I host I get the pleasure of meeting new people.
I have recovered from hosting the carnival and should be able to post my promised thoughts on how my online identity has affected me in real life tonight. In the meantime, anyone care to guess what time I actually did go to bed after finishing the carnival?

It’s really no problem, but thanks for the second mention. Only one mistake in 60 entries is a great score. You get an A from me.
I imagine that you stayed up until the break of a new day. Can you take a nap today?
3:00 am. You should have called. I was up.
Good job on the carnival.
You’re close. 4:10. But I slept like a log. I was out instantly. And even got up at 8:10 even though my nice hubby was home and got up to take care of the kids. All for a carnival.
See what a sweet man I married?
Hi Dana - thanks for plugging us over at Hayes Family again. Our blog is finally up and running properly and FAST again! Unfortunately the server did some crazy things causing our poor SP guy to have less than sleep than you did!
I agree - you’ve married a sweet man! My hubby has those moments too - and they’re always appreciated!
Can you believe I forgot to choose an entry for my own carnival? I did forget somebody. I’ve hosted this thing four or five times now and this is the first I’ve actually forgotten someone! I’ve messed up links before, but this is the first someone got skipped (that I know of, anyway). Oh well. I won’t complain to myself about it too much.
