3 Cheers For a natural right called Common Sense. We just got our chicks a couple of weeks ago. It’s been a family project and great fun! I highly recommend it. Judy Pangman has a book called Chicken Coops (45 Building Plans for Housing Your Flock). Great ideas in there for small to large flocks.
We haven’t had chickens here for a couple of generations and I think your little ones would love it.
I’ve been so entertained in real life finding crickets (and those wretched Japanese Beetles)for our silly chicks that I’m just catching up to blog world again.

Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling yucky, Dana. Godspeed on your project and the start of your new studies. My “summer project” is still plugging along – as our studies are also in full swing. I lost my summer. Well, it was consumed by family things (which is good) but didn’t leave much time for writing.
