Busy accomplishing nothing

Well, we accepted an offer on our house along with a possible moving date of December 15.  So while I have some plumbing issues to address:

some walls to build:

And some safety issues to sort out:

I have been busy.  Painting.

Oh, and making plans to build a chicken coop.

It seems a little out of order, especially at one in the morning when the children are all sleeping on the floor while I paint, but there does seem to be a limit to what I can do with five children on my own.  Once the estimates come back for the work we are hiring out, I think things should be moving along quickly.  But right now, I feel a bit like I’m very busy accomplishing nothing.

But I don’t have any time to reflect on that.  I have some major packing to do.

I like the colour you chose! Though maybe the little safety issue there oughtta be addressed before the tiny one crawls. :]

Thanks! And we are there already. He scoots all over the place, but thankfully he seems to like his playpen.

As soon as the floors are refinished, we’ll be putting the railing back up.

Is the living room the yellow you told me about or is that a different room? It sort of looks yellow, but I can’t tell. The accent wall looks great! I found some curtains today that are almost that color to go with my yellow walls. Great minds think alike. ;)

OK, my blog appears to be eating my own comments. Anyway, no, that is Sweet Sand. The yellow is this yellow: http://www.myperfectcolor.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MPC0098482 and it is in our school room. I tried taking a picture of it, but with nothing else in it, the picture didn’t look like much.

Still can’t believe I’m going to have a school room, but it is a small room with a large cabinet that is a little out of the way. We’ll have a place to keep our multi-day projects, without trying to figure out how to eat around them on the dining room table!

I vote you build a chicken moat around your garden!

I am so behind on my blogging that you are probably in the midst of your move as I type.

In the midst of cleaning and repairs, but no move yet. The other party’s financing fell through, so we’re still working on selling. :(
